Stud bolts to ASTM A320 Gr L7M - Decarburization test

Dear colleagues,

It's my first topic in this forum. I'm looking for clarification from Experts related to requirements specified at ASTM A962 in particular in para 14. Decarburization.
In accordance with ASTM A320 para 1.3 requirements of ASTM A962 are indispensable for application, thus based on my interpretation of the Specification for stud bolts A320 Gr L7M the decarburization test is mandatory. Could you please confirm if my interpretation is correct or not.

PS. I have checked both ASME interpretations and this forum and didn't find any information related to this subject.

yes, I agree to your thinking. You have to follow A962 spec per A320 spec. a
The decar could be partial or full in depth and it should be defined in A962.
