We are adding a bunch of offices for temp use via adding on some trailers. These trailers come fully wired eith distribution panels. What I want to do is drop in an 800A main panel, and put an individual breaker feeding each of the sub panels with 80 and 100A circuits. The problem is that our prefered panel (prl1a) only hase 1p breakers up to 60A. After that ther are 2p circuits.
The sub panels are all 120/240 single phase. The main panel will be a 3 phase 120/208 service. How would one wire in the sub panels from the 2p breakers? just draw load from only one side/pole?
Oddly enough, I have never done nor seen this situation before...weird....one would think I would have.
