Hi!
I'm trying to do a simple submodel analysis of a flange connection. I have run the global model but when trying to run the submodel I run into some problems.
The problem is that in the contact area between the two flanges I have two nodes, one node on each of the flanges that share the same position so when trying to run the submodel the node on the lower flange gets the displacement that the upper node have.
I have tried to specify the driving region by creating a element set for respective flange and the entering the name of the sets when applying the submodel boundary condition. But when running the analysis I get the error that ABAQUS can't find the specified set in the .prt file.
How should I do?
