Subroutines in ABAQUS

Hello all,

is there anywhere on the internet (video/pdf) any documentation available for how to start with subroutines?

I'm thrown into a project where probably DFLUX will be needed but nothing is documented so I need to start from the basics: e.g. how to link the subroutine with ABAQUS solver etc.

I have no issues with writing them (I've read about the DFLUX subroutine). My main point is how do I connect and how does it internally work!
