Subsea Control Module (SCM) Overhaul

Gents,

Does anyone have historical knowledge of these systems and the normal cost for refurbishment?

I am looking to find out what's wrong with one of the SCMs' we have in our warehouse and I want to know what the average cost of a "fault finding" exercise on a typical SCM is?

And is it better to refurbish one or just get a new one?

Thanks for the response, however I've kicked off a complete refurbishment, I was trying to find out if the contractor was charging excessive fees for no reason at all.
