Hello.
I often need to calculate the efforts coming from short circuits in the substation. For the moment I have had to only calculate the efforts at the attachment points of the insulators, so only a simple model was needed (insulators + wires), so I had been using SAMCEF. However the program itself seems quite rough around the edges. So I was wondering, what are other 3d modelling/simulation/calculation programs, that would allow me to model a structure in a substation + calculate and simulate the efforts coming from short circuit in order to know whether my structure would fail (break, bend etc) or not.
Thank you in advance.
Kaisa
