It seems a bit hectic to calculate SC forces on flexible conductors using IEC 60865 formulas.
I wonder if we need to do the whole stuff for short jumpers and flexible connections between equipment in a substation? they are never allowed to "play around" at mid point spans like overhead lines.
Terminal loading is the most important and this can be easily estimated from basic SC forces formula.
Any experiences here?
