SUBSTITUTE MATERIAL

Does anyone know of a plate material that I can substitue for A356-T6 Class 12 Aluminum. I would like to 100% machine a part that was previously a casting.

You could use 6061-T6, which has somewhat higher tensile and yield strength compared to a 356-T6 casting.
