I want to 3D print a tyre valve which will be used for functional tests.
The regular material is brass. I request suggestions on the following.
(a) What can be the material for 3D printing? The part made using this material should withstand air pressures upto 10 bar.
(b) The valves will have threads cut on the external surface. Can we cut the thread by machining on a 3D printed component.

Plenty of materials to work with... you can even print from Titanium with SLS.

To have a functional valve that small, it may be cheaper to purchase one vs 3D print.
If you have to 3D print it, print each part, then tap/die the threads.

This is where practicality says "just have it machined". My opinion, and easy for me to say with a lathe sitting in the prototype shop next to the office. Depending on which printing process you choose, it may have the strength to withstand the pressure, but not the integrity to hold it.

It is better to have enough ideas for some of them to be wrong, than to be always right by having no ideas at all.
 
There are rapid turn CNC machining shops such as protolabs and xometry that may be able to make parts you need in representative materials.
