Two part epoxy is the recommended adhesive for installing rubber stair treads. Is there an acceptable one-part chemistry available? Several companies seem to be offering a one part chemistry which will adhere both rubber and vinyl composition tile to porous surfaces. If this is true I could save a lot of time, money and trouble by using such a dual purpose material. Questions and comments solicited.

Thank-you

If you are talking about adhering to concrete Epoxy is the best, especially if new or outside.
Nearly every set of threads I've seen put on steps they have used a very tacky Yellow adhesive that is single component. Sorry I don't know the name off hand. Someone should be able to provide it.

Lately I have also seen construction adhesive or liquid nails used.

One bit of caution is if you use an unspecified adhesive for this application get permission in writing from the Engineer or Architect of Record.
