sun load heat gain???

hi friends :
i am new in this field and i get job in the middle east .
how can calculate sun load heat gain in summer tacking in the consieration lattitud of town or country ???which temperature i must use normal temp . or effective surface temp. differnce???

really i need your help

any links, articles , textbook describe this i will appressiate.
