I am looking for a supplier for highly reliable, canned motors, about 1.5kW at 3200RPM. I can find many pumps with canned motor, but I do not need a pump. The motor will be mounted to the wall of a tank with pressurized inert gas and drive a generator inside the gas with an insulated shaft. The generator is mounted on a HV platform. The current system uses a very expensive and bulky magnetic coupling that we want to replace on a number of existing machines and eliminate in future designs.
A few pump manufacturers that I contacted were not interested in delivering just a motor. Any leads are appreciated.
