I know a lot about valves for gases but need something different for my next project. Can anyone recommend a supplier of inexpensive small plastic valves for water? Only needs to hold 1 PSI. Manual or electrical operation are both options.

Pinch valves are the least expensive. Is that something that would work for your application?

I have thought about pinch valves. When I used them in the past the hose had to be replaced as regular maintenance. We would prefer to avoid that in this application. Are there hoses that last for 10,000 pinches?

What's cheaper less expensive than Alibaba? :)

Mike

The problem with sloppy work is that the supply FAR EXCEEDS the demand

We have used water sprinkler system valves.
They aren't super cheap, but they are reasonable, easy to get, and reliable.
They are also easy to automate.

Peristaltic pump tubing would probably give you the most pinches until failure.
