Hi all,
In my area of work we frequently use stainless steel (316L) and copper tubing in FMCG production plant.
I want to know if stainless steel ( say SS 304 )and copper hardware are required for supporting those tubes respectively?

Is there any chances of galvanic corrosion or any other concern you might have observed if I specify carbol steel hardware like clevis, tube clamps etc for SS tubing and copper tubing.

Whether copper plated carbon steel is compatible with copper tubing in terms of dissimilar material category?

Thanks in advance

Generally, both copper and stainless steel are more "noble" than plain carbon steel. I.e., you would expect corrosion to occur on the carbon steel side, not on the tubes.

Typically hangers have non-metallic contact pads. Plastics or rubbers with no Cl or S are common.
