Hi guys, I have the following question, when we are evaluating Seismic effects on earth pressure we calculate a KAE, but I have the doubt that if
a different coefficient than Ka must be use to calculate the pressure due to surcharge in this sceneario?

Kae is the combined seismic and static earth pressure. It is not ka (active earth pressure)
