I'm using Excell to get 2D charts.
Now I need to plot some 3D surface charts and found out that Excell is not the right software for that (its surface charts don't look very nice).

Can you suggest me other software for that or, maybe, any Excell add-in?

thanx

You should try MATLAB even if inputting data is not so friendly you can always acquire them as text file
the resultsing charts will be much better than excell ones

Two produst that I use are Axum from MathSoft and PSI Plot from Poly Soft International
Axum runs as an addon to EXCEL. PSI Plot is a independent program. Both give great surface plots.

I bought PSI Plot some time back. It can produce some nice plots. However, I got tired of paying Poly Soft to be their beta tester for them.

For 3-D curve-fitting, I wound up using using TableCurve. It is easy to use and spectacularly fast. It may have been supereceded (sp?) by now.
