Surface cracking after liquid nitriding in 16MnCr5 Material

Hello sirs,

With the reference to the following subjected information Surface cracking after liquid nitriding thread332-296883, like wise we also identified the cracks in MPI from 0.21 - 0.24mm depth after liquid nitriding process of 16MnCr5 shaft. The process cycle is followed as 1. Cleaning 2. Pre-Heating @ 400°C - 1 Hour soaking 3. Liquid Nitriding @ 565°C - 6 Hours with carbonate of 19% 4. Water Quenching immediate (5 Mins) from liquid bath 5. Post Washing & Cleaning 6. Oxidation @400°C - 30 Mins
7. Water Quenching ( Separate ) immediate from oxidation bath 8. Washing & Cleaning 9. Inspection 10. Dispatch. The photographic samples of analysis is attached. Pls give suggestions.
