SURFACE TEXTURE 2009

WE MODEL EXTERNAL THREADS AS THE MAJOR (PLAIN) DIAMETER AND ADD A THREAD TEXTURE.
HAVING JUST UPGRADED TO 2009, WE NOW SEEM TO HAVE A PROBLEM ADDING THE THREAD TEXTURE.
WOULD ANYONE BE ABLE TO HELP?

Which SW version did you upgrade from?

Have you updated your video drivers?

Are you not seeing a thread texture after using the Cosmetic Thread tool?

What exactly is the problem? How are you trying to add the texture?
We show threads the same way. We select the edge at the end of the cylinder and add a cosmetic thread. Never had any problems with this method.

Being an older draughtsman I'm in the habbit of typing everything in upper case.

Thanks for the replys, you have led me to the area where my mistake was made.

This was my problem :-

In the Feature Manager Design Tree, Annotations, Details, Annotation Properties window, 'Shaded Cosmetic Thread' was not ticked.

Problem resolved.
