Surface tolerance issues NX5 1

I am running into what I think is a tolerance issue with data that has been imported (iges) from V5 to NX5.

I have imported some data (iges) from V5 into Ideas. I use the "/xto co bo fc im" command and when prompted for a tolerance I use the default (normal .005) and when I start trying to manipulate the data (intersect, trim etc) I start running into this:
*** Internal error in function ms5fatr/CopyUserFace
*** - gt3faco returned a 40415 when called by
*** ms5fatr/CopyUserFace at position 3679
*** - Aborting ms5fatr/ms3trva at position 3359
*** - Aborting ms5fatr/ValidateData at position 100

I have data that shows no free edges and when I have extracted curves from the edges then checked to see if the curves intersect they do not.

I also have just used the "import igs" way and still come up with the same issues. Also several of us are getting a "non standard tolerance" error when trying to check in our parts. I will say the data we are using has been translated back and forth several times.
What can I look at to see if I have my tolerance set to the "standard ideas tolerance" ?
Is there some way to clean the data so I can use it ?

Try this /xto co bo fc dc It will clean your part. I think it will put your current part away and make a clean un named part on your work bench

Also try export the file out to a Universal file and import it back in.

Also Try /xto co bo mv Make part valid (flips a toggle in file &emdash;helpful after an IGES trans)
