Hello,

I would like to import 3d geom from proE to ansys as a 2d surface. For example I have asimple cone (made with revolve) in proE and as a result I would like to have a triangle surface in ansys.
I suppose that if I cut my cone half through I could somehow create a surface from it and than save it as a *.igs file and import it to ansys, but unfortunately I have no idea how to do it:(.
Thanks for help

Cheers,
michael

Why don't you just make the triangle in Ansys? Such a trivial piece of geometry can not be hard to do.
