Surfing Wave Machine Modeling

I am interested in modeling the shape of water that is pumped over curved surfaces to make a surfing wave. Something like Wave Loch.

Does anyone have experience with a software that is well suited to this type of work? I have high skill in CAD modeling but only spectator experience in CFD. I do have access to Fluent CFD or COSMOS cfd but would buy something else if I will be more usefull.
