suspension bridge sample drawing?

Where can I find a suspension bridge sample drawing? I'm particularly interested in the detailing of the cable connections & the counterweight

You may be able to get close to what you want if you can find past copies of the transactions of the Institution of Civil Engineers (also see thread769-23667), or the ASCE (Structural Division ?), and search for papers on some of the major bridges.

Try the "Bridge Project" at Rice University's Civil Engineering department. They have catalogued much information, including plans, for many bridges.
