Hi All,
Having trouble understanding how suspension busing are made. Is the rubber heated and then injected into metal housing ? Is this when the
Vulcanization occurs ? Or is the rubber already in the shape of the bushing , and is placed into housing and then undergoes vulcanization?
I’ve seen videos online where it looks like the rubber is placed into metal housing rather than being injected. What is confusing me is the vulcanization process is called injection.
Typical bushing
