Could somebody give me an example for a Suspension Kinematics demonstration?
Based on this presentation the manager may approve purchase of a full DMU license.
That sounds like a job for your local CATIA reseller. Based on your requirements, they should be able to create a customized demo in order to win your business.
In the meantime, there are a bunch of videos on YouTube that show examples of CAIIA Kinematics. Most of them start off with the how-to steps of defining the joints, but you should be able to skip to the end to see the animation.
DMU KIN will not show spring deformation(to my knowledge) but if your search this forum you'll have some idea of what is possible...
But you can manage all DOF of your suspension system and with some script I have the feeling you can define the full volume of the tire under all possible movements...
