In short;

Is it worth waiting for SolidWorks 2002, or is better to get SolidWorks 2001+ now ?

Is SW 2001+ only version between 2001 and 2002, or is it some package with advanced functions that come only in "+" version's ?

When SW 2002 should came out ?

SolidWorks releases new versions of it's software every 6 months, with service packs every few weeks inbetween. SW01+ is the latest release, and the serive pack is up to 2.0. If you purchase SW01+ now, you will be entitled to the new SW02 release, and all service packs inbetween. "Happy the Hare at morning for she is ignorant to the Hunter's waking thoughts."

Yes, just as long as you keep paying the yearly maintenance agreement fee. In addition to having access to all of the updates, you also get support included through your local VAR. If you have not purchased it yet, make sure to shop for the best VAR in your local area. Make sure that they can supply the support you may need. DimensionalSolutions@Core.com

The version 2001 Plus is much better than to 2001 (it possesses more than 150 improvements, and the great majority is innovations). If you wait for the version 2002 (that should be thrown in ~Julho), perhaps don't accompany the development of the software, besides it won't have taken advantage of the productivity earnings that this new version will provide in this period.
