SW 2008 How to use the "Show Hidden Components" Feature

I'm using SW 2008. I created an assembly file with several parts. I click on "Show Hidden Components". I see couple parts are hidden not sure why. I click on "undo" and nothing seems to happen. How do I un-hide these parts. If anyone has dealt with this problem before, please help.

Did you right-click the part in the feature tree and select un-hide?

I right clicked the part but the feature tree to un-hide doesn't show up. (see attachment)

I have to click on the "show hidden components" to see which parts are hidden, but I dont know how to un-hide the parts.

I believe I figured out what could be the problem. I attached a printscreen circling what could be causing the parts to be hidden. How do I remove those display settings shown in the printscreen?

Select the first item in the FM tree, then under the Edit menu, select the Show or Show with Dependents, and subsequent options.

I tried to follow your direction. I made a printscreen because I couldn't locate select the Show or Show with Dependents, and subsequent options.

Apparently instead of looking under the Edit menu you've gone to Tools->Options. The Edit menu is up at the top left-hand corner next to the File menu. You'll have to click the little right-arrow button next to the SolidWorks logo to make those menus visible.

Read the SW2008 What's New.

Work through all the SolidWorks tutorials in the Help section.

Get training from your VAR or SolidProfessor or igetit.
