Hi Guys,

I'm trying to circular pattern a feature but there's no 'vary sketch' option. I don't mean it's greyed out; there's no box for it at all (but the help menu refers to it).

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Simon

Simon,

Check that your sketch doesn't have any External Relations that may be locking orientation of your section curves. You can still have Tangency or on curve relations but coincident lock and a few others would prevent Vary Sketch option from being available. You can check for unwanted External References by going to the Display/Delete Dimensions icon. I use q as a hotkey for this command and it makes it easy to get to.

Also a picture would be worth a few posts. :)

Thanks for the reply. I've tried deleting all relations on all sketches related to the part but the 'vary sketch' box still doesn't appear at all.

Please see attached link of a simplified version of what I'm trying to do. I basically want two points of each of the 'gussets' to follow the two ellipses (so that each rib is essentially a different shape).
