SW 2014...create a facet model from imported SAT file

New SW user here....wondering, I want to import a .sat surface model into SW, then create rectangular, planer facets to simulate the curved surfaces. I know I can do this manually, did it all the time in Rhino, using surface edges, points, planes, etc.

Is there a tool, freeware, something that will help me accelerate this task?
