SW 2018 vs. 2012 2

I recently installed SW2018 on a new laptop. I have a bunch of models created in SW2012 stored in a cloud. Many of the files will not open, SW says it "encountered a problem opening" the file; then asks if I want to repair it. If I click yes, SW says it can't find the "Repaired_*" files and I have no repaired files on my computer. Am I missing something in 2018? I have not had a problem opening the 2012 files in 2017 on another computer.

Have you tried moving all the files to your hard drive and then repeating the process? Could be something weird with temp file locations.

I agree with hendersdc. It may have something to do with working in the cloud. Make a copy and try it.

Thanks Guys! You're absolutely right. Don't know why I can open in 2012 but not 2018 but it is what it is. Thanks again... Dave
