SW is crashing when I hit save. This happens randomly not each time I hit save. Any comments on this happening to any one else?

Considering your other post (thread559-97339), it sounds like you need to do a repair or reinstall of SW.
Check the SolidWorks Installation section in the FAQs for things to try before repairing & how to do a "clean" reinstall.

It would also "help us to help you" if you tell us what your computer specs are.

This "Crash on Save" problem occurs only on three of our new computers, curriously not on the older models
Occurs on:
Windows XP Professional Version 2002 Service Pack 1
Pentium 4 CPU 2.80GHz 2.00 GB of RAM

The older Models Are running XP Professional v2002 SP1
They just have slower processors and same amount of RAM

Before you open the file again, delete any temp files that may be pointing at it. When ever we have a crash here I run a searh on the server for "~$" (without the quoutes) and I always look for the file that crashed. If its there delete it before you open it again and then save it as soon as you get it open. This doesn't happen to us often but it seems to work for us.
