Is anyone aware of special fonts available for SolidWorks? Are there special SW fonts available for download somewhere. I always thought fonts were supplied by windows os. If anyone can shed any knowledge about fonts with Solidworks I would appreciate it.

Sorry guys, I figured it all out. A customer was sending a drawing and the font was all messed up. After several attempts to figure out the problem and the customers engineer insisting he was using Arial font, we were able to determine he was actually using Arial MS Unicode Font, which incidently none of our engineers had installed on thier machines.

SolidWorks will use any true type font. There are many websites that will sell (some stuff is free) custom fonts. You can also make your own fonts using a font builder program. A quick answer to your question is.. SolidWorks will use any font that Windows uses. To add fonts to windows add them to the windows font folder found in the control panel.

Yeah, I was pretty much aware of that, if it not for the 5 engineers working on this for two days telling me otherwise, I could have resolved this issue when it started. Thanks for the input though I appreciate the effort to help.
