SW Part Popups from Assy

Greetings Civilization,

I've just noticed that on some assemblies, after I close the viewing window, there are still additional parts open that I never opened. These parts belong to the assembly that I just closed. I'm assuming these parts automatically opened when I open the assembly. Does anyone know of options that control such behavior in the opening of assemblies?

If a part in the assy is mirrored or derived in some way from the "pop-up" parts, those parts will be opened.

Go to Tools > Options > System Options > External References and set Load referenced documents to None
