SW Routing - Tubing, can I get a P&ID from it?

I was watching a vid online showing some electrical routing in SW and at 1:00 in to the video, he saves his file and selects "Flatten Route" where he can then make a diagram of the electrical ribbon.

I am making a route with tubing, but I cannot select the "Flatten Route" since that option is in the electrical route tab.
Is there some way that I can make my P&ID without having to do it from scratch in AutoCAD?

I have had the same desire for quite some time now. Sadly there is no way to get the plant layout (P&ID) from SolidWorks. Ideally it would work the other way around as well. I should be able to create a P&ID, import it into SW, then have the software auto-populate an assembly with appropriate vessels and equipment from my library.

The real problem is that (although we tend to push SW far beyond what it was originally intended for - machine design) SW just is not a good plant layout tool. There are other pieces of software out there that can link the P&ID to a 3D layout, but you're starting to talk about spending real money there.

I use Visio for my P&IDs. I haven't found an 'easy' button yet in SolidWorks.
