SW2005 Dimension favorites

Is anyone else having problems setting up favorites with 2005?

Ive try on systems with and without SP2

What problems are you having? Also what SP are you running?

I'm in the process of testing SW2005 with SP0.0 and imported my Text and Dimension Favorites from SW2004 with no issues.

I can make, save and load dimension favorites in 2005, but they have no effect on the dimensions I apply it to.


Im running winXP, SP1
with SW2005, SP0

Known issue. I ran into this as well when trying to apply a "2X" prefix as a dim favorite. Sp1.0 is supposed to fix this. I am using EV sp1.0 and it does work again.

I see what you mean. I made it work, but its a pain.

Have your favorite loaded and ready to go..........and do not exit out of the dimension fuction at any time.

1) select the dimension function or icon
2) dimension your desire object.
3) change to your dim favorite (pull down)
4) redimension your object you desire again

Your dim favorite should now show with your new dimension.

SP1 has not resolved that issue for me unfortunatly. That other method might work, but looks very painful.
