Does swaging process(for glass lined equipment)of nozzle cutout(in dishend & shell) reduce the nominal thk of that in local portion?
if yes? by what per cent?
Does it become thinner than min. thk of head or shell?

regards

Yes, but there is no specific percent, it depends on the hole size and material thickness.

Usually the thickness doesn't reduce below the nozzle attachment (stub ends or whatever), and they have a note that the thickness of the swage shall be increased to meet the mating connection, or at least the ones I've worked on do.
