Hi

Is there a standard in Australia (or equivalent IEC one) that covers HV switchboards (1kV up to 52kV)? I have found AS 62271.200 - 2005 for HV switchgear and controlgear. It is based on IEC 62271-200.

I am looking for a standard covering HV swbds in particular their fault current ratings.

Thanks.

AS62271.1 covers generic specifications and AS62271.308 covers short circuit testing. Otherwise AS2067 may hold some guidelines.

Suggest you look at manufacturer's literature to see what they make, usual range is 250MVA to 1000MVA
