We just updated to 04, and .swj files are generated every time I open something. Can't seem to figure out how to turn them off, or have them sent to a specified folder. Any ideas?

Send to folder:
SolidWorks main menu, Tools, Options, System Options tab, File Locations, in the Show folders for: pick SolidWorks Journal File, and click Add.
No matter what I set it always goes to the Root on my C:\ drive.
The file keeps track of your keystrokes.
Good luck.

You can't turn these journal files off, you never could. They always start every time you start SW. Use Bradley's way of giving those files a path and you will not see them anymore.

Thanks Fellas,
That did the trick. One of the numerous tweaks I'm figuring out to get my 04 set-up like my 03! :)

So, what are you going to do when SW2005 (or 2006 or whatever) comes out and the 2003 look-alike options go away? My view is might as well get used to it now.
