SWX Newbie - Dim's to Outside of Arcs Rather than Ctr 2

I'm a brand-new SWX user (with prior experience on SE 6 & Inv 6). I was fiddling with the slot feature from the palette and noticed something I've not been able to do myself:

They appear to have dimensioned the slot-length directly from the outside tangents of the two arcs. Whenever I try, it only lets me dim from Ctr to Ctr. To get around it I've used construction lines but that's a pain.

Can anybody tell me how to apply dimensions from arc/circle tangents (or quadrants) instead of only from centers?

Kind regards.

Dimension the slot by clicking on the arcs, then RMB on the dimension, then click "Properties" then in the lower right side of the dialogue box there should be "Centre, Min & Max" switches for "& Second Arc Conditions."
