I'm having a hard time finding any information on this operator. I need to know mounting information. This is the little information I have: I have information from a Grove catalogue (under Dresser), so I'm not sure if they manufacture the operator or just encourage buying them with the valve.

Does anyone have information on this?

The gear operator is most probably manufactured by Ledeen - Part of the Dresser family. Most Grove Valves are equipped with Ledeen operators. Grove/Ledeen/Dresser Flow Control division will be able to help. I am guessing you want maintenance info not operating instructions/methodology.

Why would you replace an inferior actuator with another? I assume you actually want some repeatable control, low maintenance costs, and dependability?
