How could I create a BMP image from a 2D manual created geometry symbol?................

To make a .bmp image from anything in CATIA, use TOOLS + IMAGE + CAPTURE and SAVE AS to convert it to the .bmp format

Thanks Jackk,
How could I totate a .bmp image?

You would use an image editor to rotate a .bmp file.

Many apps (like CATIA, PowerPoint, etc.) will also allow you to rotate the image after it is inserted into the file.

Hi,

Can you save it from NX as dxf or dwg? If yes, just open it in CATIA, then create the 2Dcomponent as suggested. You can do this with a lot of symbols, all in same drawing. After that you can save that drawing as catalog and use them from catalog. You will be able to scale, rotate, explode, replace....

Fernando

2DComponenet dont have to be BMP/ raster image... I was suggesting that because on your picture the format says BMP. If you have a vector file (DXF or other) you can import that into your detail sheet.

Actually vector data might be better is you consider scaling it...
