Symbol Libraries

Is there a way (maybe a converter) to use 2D symbols from an Acad 2000 library with Acad R14? Anyone know of any good electronics/electrical symbol libraries for Acad r14?

Time consuming but you could write a script fairly easily that opens and saveas each 2000 dwg to R14.

Use the migration assistant available from Autodesk. It will convert all DWG files to and from R13 through R2002. You can download migration assistant from Autodesk at: ftp://adeskftp.autodesk.com/prodsupp/autocad/patches/migrsetup.exe It does require that A2k be installed.
