Symbol Reserverd, Issue

I get this error, when I want to change name in dimension properties "THIS SYMBOL IS RESERVED OR EXITS ALREADY" I have symbol (A) in the past. I renamed it (Sheild_A_Die), now I need to rename it back to (A). Is there a way to do this. I am using CREO-2....... Please help......

You may still have "A" associated to the drawing. If so, go to Annotate, Format (dropdown arrows)/Symbol Gallery/Delete/Name and delete "A".
