Hi!

Could someone help with this equivalent circuit, because there is something I don't understand.
This figure states here that (U_phi=j*X_phi*I_a) is the voltage that is induced in one phase by the rotating magnetic flux which is created by the 3-phase stator windings. Seems to me here that I_a in one phase is the only current that creates the flux, but what about the currents in the other two-phase? They together create the rotating flux, where are their induced voltages in this equivalent circuit? Or how should I imagine this?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks,

They aren't showing you the rotor field circuit that is created by a permanent magnet or an electromagnet using dc. It is the rotor that is creating the field flux. This just shows the stator circuit where the voltage is induced as the field flux cuts the stator coils to create Ef.
