I have a '60's Garrard turntable (SL95B)(remember those old phonograph records?)that has a synchronous motor. When it is first turned on, it makes a jittering noise as though it is trying "sync". Usually after a while it calms down and works normally. Any suggestions as to what might be wrong? Is it fixable?
