We are beginning to work on more and more projects that involve the use of synthetic turf. I'm trying to determine two things:

What a conservative Curve Number would b,e and how to best model the underdrain system that is required for these types of fields?

Has anyone had to do this yet?

Thanks,

You may be able to calculate an equivalent CN based on the voids in your "soil". For details please see
However, this tells you what will run off, rather that what will enter the sand/subdrain. If the surface is designed to accept (infiltrate) all the rainfall, then you could model the surface with CN=98 and route the "runoff" into the sand storage and underdrain system.
