Tack welding with GTAW and Final Welding with SMAW for fillet welds 3

Dear Gents,


Is it allowed to tack weld with GTAW and do the final welding with SMAW process for filet welds according to ASME Codes ?

Always better to stick to a single process. Can you have a WPS that is a mix of GTAW & SMAW (not root & fill-up and final)?
