Tailing Lug Analysis for existing Coke drum pressure vessel 1

Hi,

Does any one have experience in tailing a vessel with the use of tailing lug located at "UG-34 flat head flange" (refer picture).
If you know Please quote some reference calculations to verify the stresses.

We are doing a lifting analysis to replace a 30 year old 250 Ton weight Coke Drum (revamp job). In existing vessel, We have two lifting lugs located at top with good condition. But the issue is regarding the tailing lug location.

Since the drum was old and the bottom plate (base ring was completely corroded) we needed to attach the new tailing lug at some location other than base ring.

So We are planning to attach a new tailing lug at the bottom flange bolt cover (we need to fabricate UG-34 flange with tailing lug attached to it).
So if you know Please quote some reference calculations to verify the stresses.

I have never used this for a tailing blind, but I have used such an arrangement for the main lifting lug. There is a method in "Process Vessel Design Manual" by Dennis Moss for such a flange. These are also commonly referred to as lifting blinds.
 
I prefer one tailing lug on skirt.

We just completed a job with basically the same scope. A long pipe was inserted through top nozzle almost through entire vessel. At bottom was a RFWN flange that was smaller than bottom nozzle. A lifting blind with tailing lug was bolted to bottom nozzle AND the lifting blind had also been drilled to mate with the smaller RFWN at bottom of pipe inside the vessel. Similar lifting flange was at top of pipe and bolted to top nozzle.
