I'm currently working with two bodies that are i defined contact force with each other in ADAMS, and I've been able to calculate the normal force (F_y) during their impact. However, I'm also interested in determining the tangential force that arises during the impact. If I were to introduce friction into the model, I would only be able to calculate the resulting friction force from F_x or F_z of contact force component, which is not what I'm looking for.
