Dear Experts,

We have a tank farm project which is intended to store edible oil as follows:
(1) Storage : Different types of edible Oil
(2) Flash point of stored oil : Ranging from 250 degC to 325 degC (482 degF to 617 degF)
(3) Classification of liquid as per NFPA30 : Class-IIIB
(4) Type of tank : Vertical - Fixed roof
(5) Diameter of Tanks : 16.0m
(6) Height of Tank : 22.0m
(7) Number of tanks at tank farm: 4 Nos.
(8) Dike wall height : 2.0m
(9) AHJ recommendation : Not available.
(10) Manufacturer recommendation : Do not use a solid water stream as it may scatter and spread fire!

We have done fire protection system for tanks storing hydrocarbon fuels in-compliance with NFPA. However, edible oil storage with such a high flash-point is new for me, and here I would like to get your valuable suggestions on suitable fire protection system for tanks or dike / both.

Thank you for your valuable time.
