Tank Overflow Seal Types

Existing Oil & Gas industry Produced Water Tank with Fuel Gas blanketing need to be provided with seal protection in the overflow lines. Sketch of the overflow lines is given in the attached worksheet. Kindly advice on the type of seal recommended for overflow lines.

As per your other posts ( you really should provide a link so everyone can see the context and other posts), If you want to keep the FG blanketing in the tank and not just flowing down the pipe out of the open pit, then you need to provide either a hydrostatic U bend with whatever water column you need or some sort of valve to maintain the required back pressure on the tank ( again often measured in inches or cm of water guage.
